Supporting children of all ages, races, and cultures

Bella Vita Journeys has partnered with a variety of charities benefiting children here in America and around the world. By championing today's youth, we can help to preserve tomorrow for generations to come.

To show our support, Bella Vita Journeys will donate 10% of all profits from each journey to one of these organizations.

Bal-Bobek Kindergarten Mongolian Project

In Nomadic tribal villages in Sogog, Mongolia, the local community has a deep desire to provide their children with an early learning program. Typically, in the countryside, students do not start school until 8 years old. Fiat Charities Inc. (a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching and empowering impoverished communities around the world), provides financial assistance for Sogog by donating all proceeds to the Bal-Bobek Kindergarten Project.

Local villagers have been provided with proper training, facilities, and supplies, and anticipate opening the kindergarten in September of 2006 with 25 students. This will ground-breaking event will represent a four-year effort to establish a self-sustaining kindergarten that will eventually enroll all 103 children in the Sogog community. All people are employed from the village, the community will own, run, and maintain the school.

Fiat Charities work to empower the community to be self-reliant. One way it does this is through Altaicraft. Altaicraft employs local women in an effort to instruct them on the traditional hand-embroidered patterns of the Kazak people, this style of hand embroidery is currently only in museums. By purchasing these products, you are helping to employ these women to give them a sense a dignity and ultimately promoting growth of the local economy, including the Bal-Bobek Kindergarten.

Bella Vita has purchased 100 of these bags to be used by our clients during your journeys. We hope you enjoy the exquisite craftsmanship of the bags, and relish in the knowledge that you have helped send a Mongolian child to school.
